Parliament Votes to Kill Stray Dogs

Recently the Romanian Parliament ruled to end the lives of thousands of dogs. In a move that is unpopular with dog lovers world-wide, the current government is seen as cruel and heartless. The full story can be read here.

All members in Parliament have voted to end the lives of innocent dogs despite EU directives and those set down by animal welfare organisations. We ask the question, if such irrational and cruel decisions are made for the voiceless and vulnerable animals, what kind of decisions will be made with respect to vulnerable people? Can we trust this reckless government who clearly wishes to abuse tax payers funds to conduct themselves in an unjust and disgraceful manner?
