All donations will go towards the most urgent cases that week featured on our Facebook page. You can also donate directly to rescuers. Click the link here. The only solution in Romania is to rescue stray dogs and ensure their safe adoption. We hope you will contribute whatever you can towards the safety of these dogs. If they cannot be rescued, they will meet a terrible fate of neglect in the public shelters and a severely painful death as peaceful euthanasia is not common in Romania. For all these reasons, please donate to help. One dog can be maintained with approximately 20 Euros which covers food and flea/tick treatment. In any event, every penny counts, literally.

Forever Home Found. Thanks to social networking.

These two dogs were saved by two people - one in Romania and one in England. Read about them here. Both co-ordinated the exit strategy from the public shelter. They were due to be killed following Romania's new 14 day cull law. Thanks to social networking, we were also able to find a wonderful owner who offered them a forever home in England. Just goes to show that we can effect change if we all just try a little. A little cheerful news for the weekend.

Dogs are demonised in the media. Is this dog aggressive?

Throughout the mainstream media, the representation of Romanian stays has been negative. The President would like us to believe that all dogs are violent. This isn't so. The above demonstrates that Romanian Street dogs make lovely pets.
