Botosani Mayor says expect more stray dogs law. Mayor of Botosani , Ovidiu Portariuc , Wednesday welcomed the decision of the Constitutional Court case law amending and completing Government Emergency Ordinance no. 155/2001 approving the program management of stray dogs. He said that the normative act will allow local authorities to act diminishing stray dogs. "We waited a long time a tool like this that we act. I acted before, but now we have the legislative support that helps us solve as soon as the problem, "said Ovidiu Portariuc . He argues that in the shortest time, the city will move to capture stray dogs and then where animal welfare organizations will claim quadrupeds, to euthanasia. President Traian Basescu signed Wednesday promulgation of Decree amending and supplementing Government Emergency Ordinance no. 155/2001 approving the program management of stray dogs. Romania's Constitutional Court decided that the law on stray dogs is constitutional. CCR judges rejected as unfounded complaint and found that the law is constitutional, respecting previous decision of the Court. AGERPRES
